Our cultural space has been created as a part of Posada al Sur’s general project, like a stage where different cultural suggestions can be exchanged.
Conceived as a plural space, it’s an ideal place to realise video projections, training courses, conferences, films or documentary shootings, artistic expositions and any kind of event that comes from groups with social or cultural interests and initiative.The place disposes of a full logistic and we adapt ourselves to the requirements of each event.
We also offer aditional services like audiovisual equipements and reception service. The environment has a particular esthetic and a warm and friendly atmosphere. The room can receive about 30 sitting and 50 standing people. It has chairs, tables, and wireless internet. You can also ask for specific catering services, like for example that of the organic food “La Olla de Barro”.

- Spanish Classes and cultural stays
to learn spanish in an active way, through experiences and activities of uruguayan culture. Our work group proposes a different way to learn spanish, combining technical skills of the language with situations and activities related to the local culture, as visits to markets and fairs, theater and music events and development of social and local links.See more.

Permanent exposition of wall clocks
from the workshop Girosur. Aldo Grau and Ernesto Dellepiane are the creators of several clocks and watches, whose rotation is reversed, with compasses and maps as well, where north and south are reversed, according to their “wish to recreate the natural orientation given by the region we belong to.”
